Our bookshop survives by nature of our ability to constantly buy incoming used items from the public and other sources. That's why it's imperative that we continue to purchase stock in large volumes; the more, the better.

But because our shelf space is limited, there will always be many items brought in that we, through our experience, have had a difficult time selling and can no longer purchase.

This is the unavoidable reality, and something that hopefully our customers realize when there are things we cannot buy from them.

But we'd like to take this opportunity, in having our new website, to let you know generally, what type of things we do buy, and that which we can't. Quite often, it may save you a trip down, and we know how important your time can be.

Also, as a special incentive, we'd like to offer you an added bonus when you bring your items down to us:
Print this page and take it with you and we will give you 20% more CASH for your books, magazines or videos or 10% more for your DVDs. Remember, this only applies to cash purchases. We already have a great deal if you prefer to trade your belongings for in-store credit, which you can spend the same day, or use it as a credit slip at a later date. There is no expiration date on it, and you don't have to use it up all at once. For trade, you would get 50% more (than cash) of books for books (and magazines), or 20% more (than cash) for videos and DVD's.
